Serving the Greater Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Area
Donations of paper towels, toiletry items, etc are whats needed right now. Pampers or any size.
Domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking are some of the most horrible and traumatic crimes anyone can experience. There is often little recourse for many victims of these atrocities as they may be forced to stay in situations due to lack of financial opportunities, there may be intense emotional ties or fear for their safety and loved ones.
These problems have no racial, economic, religious, gender barrier. However, minorities, undocumented individuals tend to suffer the most.
Our goal is to help as many survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse as possible through our services, and we never charge our clients for the services they receive.
To continue our mission, we need your help!

Financial & Tax Information
Eliza’s Helping Hands Is committed to our mission which is to provide services and programs that help the most vulnerable in our community. We would not be able to do that without the investment of the community, which includes everything from monetary donations to clothing items, from $1.00 to $1,000. That said, we want to ensure that we provide an opportunity for our community investors to inspect our books. We will provide a tax update for the years 2020 to 2023., we are still working on 2024 up to 2025. You can find this information at the IRS’s website at https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/. Check back for updates! We have provided a list of the Foundations, Businesses, City and County Governments that donated to Eliza over the years. In an effort to protect private individuals in our community and their privacy, those that donated items and resources have a copy of that donation amount and what was donated at our office located at 1225 East 5th Street, 27101. Should you want to examine those records, please feel free to contact our office at (336) 682-2331 to make an appointment.
Due to an IRS tax extension please check back on December 31st, 2026 to get access to our most recent tax returns.
